I know people have different photographic styles and it is good to specialize in one area, but they are all connected. Every style of photography is connected through light. I've shot from weddings, to portraits all the way down to macro. The one constant is light; be it natural or strobe. I realized that if you can learn light- the way it moves, shapes and reacts you can shoot any kind of photography. Sure specializing is great, but it is good to have in your bag of tricks the ability to shoot anywhere without any problems.
