Light it / by Brian Mobley

I've learned that lighting can be a tricky, but a simple thing to use. Of course there are tons of rules, but I tend to stick to a more simple one: don't over do it (unless that's what you are going for of course). Everything can be lit if it is lit properly. I actually realized adding a little bit of extra light helps the shot to just pop a tad bit more and sometimes it can allow the scene to be captured as is. This can make a good shot great! There are a couple of ways of doing this, but I tend to lean towards flash. Keep the flash low and directional (to the actual spot you are trying to hit) and Light it!
